Daily Rota Housekeeper - Kensington, London

Our private client is looking for a formally trained housekeeper with minimum 5 - 10 years previous experience in London prime properties, or experience working within 5* luxury  hotels or residences.

The housekeeper will be a team player, happy to work on rota within a small domestic team, and comply with such instructions consistent with the position reporting to the Head Housekeeper and the House Manager.

You will be organised with a real eye for details, taking pride in your job and willing to go the extra mile, ensuring exceptional housekeeping services. Must be comfortable working around children and family pets.

Must have an understanding and experience handling high fashion and all associated laundry and wardrobe management ie pressing, storing, organising, packing suitcases, unpacking etc.

Some European travel will also be required, therefore flexibility to travel is necessary and must have a UK or EU passport, with current DBS.

Working pattern, Holiday and Overtime

  • Working Week: 5 days per week / 2 days off

  • Hours: 8/9 hour shifts ensuring service is covered between the hours of 7am to 9pm

  • Shift rota: Early 7am - 3pm, Middle 9am - 6pm, or Afternoon/Eve 1pm - 9pm

  • Plus, Statutory holiday entitlement of 20 days annual leave plus English Bank and Public Holidays.

  • Additional day of holiday in lieu if any additional days are worked.

Salary and Package

  • Salary range  £48k - £55,000 gross pa DOE

  • Enrolment to the workplace pension scheme

  • Discretionary annual bonus

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeper - Hackney, East London

Our client is seeking an experienced part time Housekeeper for a busy family of 3 children and 2 adults. Ideal days would be a Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons for approx. 4 – 6 hours each day.

The property is a 4 bedroom / 4 storey house, hence would suit someone active and fit as lots of up and down stairs. Usual housekeeping duties, cleaning, beds, laundry, ironing, etc and if you enjoy cooking - this would be a bonus.

The property is surrounded by good Overground stations, nearest with equal distance are Hackney Central, London Fields or Dalston Junction stations.
