Our client is seeking a reliable, discreet, and highly organised Part‑Time Housekeeper/Cook to support the smooth running of their home.

A young couple with baby (Nanny also employed), your role is to maintain a beautifully presented 3 bedroom home and enjoy preparing simple, healthy light lunch / meals.  

You will take full responsibility for the daily upkeep, cleanliness, laundry & household organisation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage their time efficiently without supervision, maintaining a calm and discreet presence. 

Must have previous experience working in a family setting, recent and checkable references, DBS clearance and right to work in UK.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm (20 hours per week – 4 hours per day).

Salary: £25,000–£30,000 DOE / Self employed Contractor.

Daily Housekeeper / Cook – nr Brecon, Wales

Our client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper, with confident cooking skills to cater meals for their Estate staff.

This involves preparing light lunches, such as sandwiches, soups, and quiches, as well as family-style dinners with protein-rich dishes like pasta, pies, chicken, salads, vegetables. Meals should be served buffet-style or left in the fridge for staff to reheat. Breakfast duties include laying out and ensuring cereals, bread, eggs, yogurt, and fresh fruit are available for staff self-service.

The staff housing comprises 10 bedrooms. Housekeeping is done every 2 weeks only when staff changeover - cleaning room and common areas, bed changing and launder linen. Also oversee household shopping and stock control.

The position requires a reliable, organized individual capable of managing household chores and meal preparation, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements:

 Proven longevity in similar role, or hotel background.

  • Confident cooking skills

  • Recent and checkable references

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

  • Good communication skills and clear English

  • Enhanced DBS clearance (agency can organise)

  • Must have clean driving licence and car to access property

  • Ability to start mid June 2026

 Hours/Package:

  • Monday – Friday plus 1 weekend per month

  • 45 hours per week

  • Salary £35,000 gross pa

  • Statutory Holiday Entitlements plus extra holiday for your birthday

  • Pension is based on Qualifying Earnings

  • Discretionary bonus

Domestic Couple - Hertfordshire, UK

Our clients, a lovely family with two children, are looking for a Domestic Couple to join their existing team to work in this beautiful family home situated on a stunning 35‑acre estate.

A fantastic role for a couple who enjoy working as part of a team, appreciate structure, and takes pride in supporting a well‑run household. Staff include gardeners, a Head Housekeeper, and a House Manager.

The couple would need to understand boundaries, present with professionalism, and enjoy  teamwork. Duties as follows, but not limited to:

Housekeeper / Cook - A confident, organised individual who enjoys:

  • Housekeeping to a high standard (with guidance from the Head Housekeeper)

  • Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care

  • Helping prepare simple family meals (the family loves cooking themselves)

  • Supporting during weekends with guests, dinner parties, BBQs

  • Keeping the kitchen and household areas immaculate

  • Assisting with guest rooms and changeovers

This is not a formal cook role — just good prep support and the odd lunches for the principals. 

Groundsman / Estate Support - A practical, hands‑on person who enjoys:

  • Supporting the gardening team (no heavy work)

  • Using estate machinery: blower, strimmer, jet washer, quad bike, tractor, forklift

  • General estate upkeep: clearing leaves, washing down terraces, drains, general handyman tasks

  • Helping with two swimming pools (contractor handles technical maintenance)

  • Caring for 7 alpacas (vet manages health — just feeding and confidence around animals)

  • Keeping outdoor areas tidy and guest‑ready

A background in maintenance, DIY, or estate work is ideal but not essential.

The Estate & the accommodation

  • 35 acres of beautiful grounds

  • 5 buildings including main house, stables, coach house

  • 2 swimming pools

 Salary / Package

  • Salary on offer £80,000 gross plus full employment statutory entitlements

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours a day with an hour break for lunch (occ weekends)

  • Accommodation: a lovely 2‑bedroom cottage on site, fully included

  • Utilities and internet provided

  • No bills except your own food and personal expenses

  • Though a car is available at the property for work, you will need your own car for personal use

  • Ideal start date: early April 2026

  • Must have right to work in UK & current DBS checks
