Head of Housekeeping Operations - Doha, Qatar
/Our VVIP client in this prestigious household, is seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping Operations to lead all housekeeping activities across a large private palace, and multiple guest houses within the estate.
The role oversees a 60‑staff domestic team and ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and luxury service.
The Head of Housekeeping Operations will manage daily housekeeping operations, laundry and garment care, staff training, inspections, and readiness of all residential and guest areas. This is a senior position requiring exceptional discretion, leadership, and experience in ultra‑luxury environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and develop a 30‑member housekeeping team and liaise with other departments (a total of 60 staff)
Maintain impeccable standards across the palace and guest houses
Oversee daily cleaning, detailing, laundry, linen care, and wardrobe organisation
Ensure readiness of private suites, guest wings, majlis areas, and formal reception rooms
Conduct regular inspections and quality‑control checks across the estate
Train staff, manage schedules, rotations, and performance
Coordinate housekeeping support for guest arrivals and high‑profile visits
Report housekeeping‑related maintenance issues to relevant departments
Uphold strict confidentiality at all times
Candidate Requirements
10 to 15+ years’ experience in VVIP households, luxury estates, or 5‑star hospitality
Proven leadership of managing large housekeeping teams
Strong knowledge of luxury garment care and couture handling
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Fluent English
High discretion, professionalism, and cultural awareness
Schedule & Conditions
6 days per week
8 hours per day + 1‑hour break
Fully compliant with Qatar employment regulations
Salary & Benefits
Commensurate with experience / equivalent to £3,000 - 5,000 p/mth
