Top caliber candidate required,
with exceptionally high standards and immaculate personal
presentation essential. Responsible for all organization
and private matters of the private couture wardrobe of the
client and attention to detail must be 100%. This lady dresser
will have to be very professional with a huge sense of
motivation. Professionalism and experience is essential.
Client is the wife of a VIP
businessman, and requires an experienced Dresser, used to
managing a couture wardrobe impeccably. You will be required to
photograph and catalogue the wardrobe, so good computer skills
are essential.
A person with a truly excellent
ability to press, and care for fine clothing, shoes and lingerie
is required, plus the ability to undertake packing and unpacking
for the client, travel with her and accompany her on clothes
buying expeditions. You will ensure that all clothing is
correctly cleaned, arrange for specialist cleaning and
alterations, and ensure that all items are correctly stored.
In addition you will oversee
Madam’s private rooms, lay out all her clothing, (day and
evening) as directed. You will be able to inform Madam of all
new collections, and advise her on any alterations taking place
on her garments, and of any lost or damage to items.
Excellent references and
experience essential. Accommodation is described as some of the
best in the industry. Accommodation is provided initially in a
hotel during the trial period. The
residence has a large permanent staff in situ. Driver essential
and car provided after trial. Languages a plus - especially
French. The hours are 10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Travel

Chef -
Kensington
Dedicated chef is required for a busy
household situated off Kensington High
Street. The Patrons require a chef who will
work a 7 day on, 7 day off roster. The
Patrons enjoy a varied and imaginative diet,
but do require gluten free cooking
with limited dairy products etc. They admit
to embracing the latest food fads, including
Macrobiotic diets, so their chef must
embrace the latest ideas about food and
diets with enthusiasm rather than dread!
The chef must be free for occasional travel
to locations in America & France. Knowledge
of spoken French would be a good advantage.
The other chef is Canadian, but was trained
in Europe - so has a wide breadth of
knowledge.
Candidates must love their trade, and must
be able to work in an almost call-order
environment, not only cooking for the
patrons and their guests, but also staff,
nannies and the employer's child.
When on duty, hours can be quite long, and
their is a requirement for the chefs to keep
their own kitchen clean - so the day is not
finished when dessert goes out - there is a
responsibility to leave the kitchen spotless
at the end of the day.
Additionally, the kitchen is the centre of
the house, with members of family and staff
congregating there for coffee and snacks
etc, therefore the chef must be receptive of
this situation. Finally, the Patrons wish to
maintain a friendly, bright, cheerful,
home - so candidates who are not naturally
friendly and cheerful (even when the going
gets tough) will not not work out.

Travelling Chef - UK, Florida, Canada
A Wonderful
position for a classically trained chef,
with previous long-term private household
experience and an international repertoire.
The clients, a professional, semi retired
couple entertain frequently, especially
while at their Florida residence. The new
chef will need to be creative, artistic and
possess great flair. Wonderful presentation
skills required with the ability to take
full responsibility of the provision and
care of the kitchen. The candidate will be
able to menu-plan and cater for up to 40
people at regular parties.
The annual
travel schedule is based as
follows: Jan-March: Canada and predominantly
Florida. April-May: is spent mainly in
Toronto with occasional trips to the UK.
May, June & July: you would remain in the UK
for most of the time. August and September:
the clients return to Toronto and visit
their Canadian Island holiday home. October
and November: time is spent back in Toronto,
with trips to the UK. November and
December: Generally time is spent in
Florida.
This is a top
position for a dedicated and enthusiastic
chef with an excellent background. Top
caliber classical French training required,
and preferably with training and excellent
skills in the art of French Patisserie and
afternoon tea treats! We need a chef
who is able to work right across the
international gastronomic board, be this in
the preparation of French, Italian,
Mediterranean, classical English, and then
into Oriental styles and the Tapas approach
to eating - which sometimes suits the
family.
Immaculately
presented candidates, who take pride in
working in an spotlessly clean environment,
who are non-smokers, and carry a clean
driving licence, combined with a healthy
approach to living are required. Male, Female,
or a chef couple would also be considered.
